Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won’s connection, from drama series to commercials

2 Mar

Seoul, Korea – Actor Hyun Bin and actress Ha Ji Won’s special past connection is becoming a hot topic.

Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won’s combined popularity skyrocketed after the two appeared on SBS TV’s series Secret Garden together. In the series, they were known as the “Ttol-Teng” (from combining the names Kim Ttol-Chu and Gil Teng-Ja) couple, causing many people to become addicted to the series.

On top of that, the two actors had their hands printed at Mokdong’s CGV in 2007 and together participated in the Good Downloader campaign in 2009, causing people to describe them as “the couple bound by heaven.”

This time, the connection was being featured in a commercial advertising corn tea, known for its “V-line” trademark.

Hyun Bin copied the image of Secret Garden’s “Kkado-nam,” (Picky, Snooty Man) Kim Juwon for the commercial. In 2007, Ha Ji Won had also featured as a model in a commercial for the same brand of corn tea.

Netizens who were surprised at the two actors’ amazing connection, wondered, “Just how far does their connection go?” and “Perhaps there are more undiscovered connections between the two.”

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin, who is set to enter the military on the 7th as a marine, has planned a farewell party with fellow actors Jang Dong Gun, Park Jong Hoon, and Gong Hyungjin. Likewise, Ha Ji Won is busy with a full schedule of filming commercials and the like.
