Sidus HQ to launch an international acting program

iHQ, more famously known by its three-part entertainment management components under the name of Sidus HQ, has announced the launch of an international acting program in July of this year.

The program will be run by iHQ’s relatively new acting school, Casting Audition and Star Training, otherwise known as C.A.S.T. Their “2011 Summer Intensive Acting Workship” is targeted at foreign students aspiring to be actors, but all classes will be held in Korean. The program will focus on basic acting, vocal training, and Korean pronunciation and language.

C.A.S.T. was launched in June 2009 and is located in Apgujeong, Seoul, in conjunction with the popular cafe franchise, Caffe Benne. It offers a myriad of courses, including dancing, singing, camera and film focus, as well as a traditional form of music, Pansori.

The school is run by a number a famous entertainment veterans including Ahn Hyukmo and Shin Seungwon. Its equally famous proteges include Janghyuk, Lee Soohyuk, Moon Heejun of H.O.T., Danny Ahn from g.o.d., and L. Joe from Teen Top.

More information on the international program will be released in the coming months and can be found on C.A.S.T. HQ’s website.
