Brave Girls releases “So Sexy” MV

After teasing fans with images from their latest music video, Brave Girls have unveiled their second music video “So Sexy.” It was reported that the group and producers initially had trouble picking between the songs “So Sexy” and “Do You Know” as Brave Girls’ debut song. Because they had believed the song trend found in “So Sexy” had passed, “Do You Know” was chosen.

“So Sexy” was produced by Mr. Kang and Brave Brothers, and features the Brave Girls in sexy police-like uniforms. Halfway through the music video, Brave Girls performed a powerful dance break, showing off their impeccable dance skills.

CNBLUE takes No.1 on Taiwan music charts

CNBLUE are continuing to make waves on overseas charts with their albums. They were recently reported charting on the Philippine’s Odyssey and Astroplus chart with “Bluetory,” “Blue Love,” and “First Step.”

Now it has been reported that CNBLUE have also topped charts in Taiwan with their repackaged album “First Step +1 Thank You” under the Kpop category for Taiwan’s, KuangNan Record, G-Music, Five Music, and KKBOX. The album went on sale in Taiwan on May 27th and has received the gold status in Taiwan for selling over 7,000 units. Their past albums “Bluetory” and “Blue Love” have achieved double platinum status.

CNBLUE said, “We were extremely happy when we heard that ‘First Step’ came in first and it feels like a dream that ‘Thank You’ has done the same as well. We hope to hold a concert in Taiwan when we get the chance.”

BEAST’s “Bad Girl” takes No.1 Recochoku ringtone chart

BEAST has taken No.1 on Recochoku’s ringtone chart with their latest Japanese single “Bad Girl.” Recochoku is one of Japan’s largest mobile music websites. BEAST released their single “Bad Girl” on June 15th.

In March, BEAST released their debut Japanese single “SHOCK” in March, the Japanese version of their Korean hit. The group has received a lot of love from Japanese fans since their debut and recently visited their 600th day since their debut. BEAST said, “We hope to show you a better side of ourselves as a thank you for giving us support.”

A representative from Recochoku said, “This is the second time BEAST has ranked on Recochoku, which has the participation of over 30 major record labels. We have high hopes on their future activities.”

SNSD takes 3rd place with their “Mr. Taxi,” with “Let It Rain” in 16th place and “Gee” in 22nd place.

2PM to release 2nd studio album in 2 weeks

Beastly group 2PM recently attended Coca Cola’s 125th Anniversary exhibit opening that was held in Seoul. Interviews were conducted during the opening and the news of their Korean comeback has spread.

2PM has been active in Japan; they have been studying Japanese and promoting their most recent single, “Take Off.” Their debut single did well on the Oricon Chart, placing a high 4th on Daily charts.

At the end of May, JYP revealed a short preview of 2PM’s new song, teasing fans mercilessly.

The group will release their 2nd studio album, which is currently untitled, and will have the first teaser video revealed on June 13th. The actual album is set to be released on June 21st.
