Yuchun on plane to Japan for filming of “Ripley”

Group JYJ’s member Park Yuchun is on a plane to Japan for filming of MBC TV drama “Miss Ripley.”

Recently, Park Yuchun tweeted, “I will do a good job shooting. Please support Yukata, Song YuHyung! Ahja! Everyone please come see JYJ’s World Tour! And Japan, truly have strength!”

Yukata, Song Yuhyun is Yuchun’s character name in “Miss Ripley.” Yukata is his Japanese name, and Song Yuhyun is used as his Korean name. Yukata is the son of a president of a famous Japanese resort, and falls into a triangle-love with Jang Miri (Lee DaHae) and the hotel manager Jang Myunghoon (Kim Seungwoo)

Yukata learns true love through Jang Miri, but is a tragic character who falls in danger of ruin because of her. Lee DaHae, who is making her comeback after 1 year and 3 months after KBS 2TV drama “Chu-No,” has been cast as Jang Miri.

“Miss Ripley” is based off of Shin JungAh, who made news by forging her education history, and is about a woman (Jang Miri) with greedy desires who falls into a pit of lies, and the conflict and resolution that occurs between the two men (Yukata, Jang Myunghoon) who fall in love with her.

“Miss Ripley” starring Kim Seungwoo, Lee Dahae, Park Yuchun, and Kang Haejung, will air at the end of May after the drama “Jjak Pae.”

f(x) and Super Junior promote for Korean Red Cross

Super Junior and f(x) have both become ambassadors for the Korean Red Cross. Super Junior has been ambassadors for the Korean Red Cross since 2007. Previously, Super Junior members Donghae and Sungmin appeared in a CF for the Korean Red Cross promoting blood donation.

Many Korean celebrities have recently donated money to Japan in the wake of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Super Junior and f(x), who are both currently signed under Avex in Japan, are seemingly doing their part in helping to garner both monetary as well as blood donations towards the relief effort of Japan’s recovery.

Singer SE7EN tweeted his feelings about his 8th anniversary since his debut.

On March 22nd, SE7EN tweeted, “Today is SE7EN’s 8th anniversary! Even though I’ve been a singer for 9 years, my heart still feels pure like that of a rookie. To all the people who care for me and love me, thank you.”

He followed up with, “I promise to deliver cooler songs and stages in the future. Thank you to all the people who have given me words of congratulations.”

Various stars and known figures have tweeted their congratulations to SE7EN, including BoA who said, “Congrats congrats! The first time we met was in high school right? Haha. Oppa congratulations! I’ll be anticipating your cool stages in the future too.”

2NE1’s Minzy tweeted, “Wah! Even if it’s been 18 years or 28 years, please stay as cool like you are now and stay as my beautiful sunbae and Oppa!”

YG’s trainer tweeted a shirtless picture of SE7EN and said, “Wah, congrats congrats! Always be healthy!”
